The Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (APSERC) on November 19, 2024, issued the Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Multi Year Tariff) Regulations, 2024.
This shall come into force from December 10, 2024, and shall remain in force until March 31, 2030.
The following has been stated namely: -
• These Regulations supersede the "Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Multi-Year Tariff) Regulations, 2018" with all amendments.
• These Regulations shall apply to all existing and future Generation Companies supplying power, Transmission Licensees, Distribution Licensees, State Load Despatch Centre (SLDC), and their successors, if any, for determination of Aggregate Revenue Requirement, Tariff, and fees of SLDC in all matters covered under these Regulations from April 01, 2025, upto March 31, 2030.
• Chapter 2 outlines General Principles regarding the Multi-Year Tariff Framework.
• Chapter 3 outlines the Procedure for Determination of Tariff.
• Chapter 9 outlines the provisions regarding the Tariff for Distribution Wheeling Business.
• Chapter 10 outlines the provisions regarding the Tariff for Retail Supply Business.
